Move Up Day Activities

May 18, 2013 by Tamara 1 Comment

photo fiveforfriday7_zps0bd40da5.jpgHappy Weekend to Everyone! After a brief hiatus from the Five for Friday post…I’ve got some really fun things to share with you all! 🙂  Thanks so much to Doodle Bugs for hosting this linky for us! 🙂

This last few days have been super busy, but really, REALLY awesome! 🙂

1. My mom was here for the last ten days! 🙂  We had a total blast! 🙂  Two very close family friends were graduating from college and we were able to be with them for their special day! 🙂  Mom came to the classroom to help with Mother’s Day crafts. She really had a good time with her ‘grand students’! 🙂

2.)  I did Rebecca’s Plant Unit this week!  What fun! 🙂  Here are the sprout houses I told you about! 🙂
3.)  I have a student who is an animal lover and is raising some rabbits at home.  He brought them in so that we could get a chance to love on them too! 🙂  They were SO CUTE!  There were six of them! Everyone got a chance to hold them once! 🙂
4.) Today was Move Up Day at our school.  We get to have students from a kindergarten class come visit us so that we can tell them all about first grade.  Daina and I made some cute hats with the kids just for the occasion! 🙂

All in all it’s been a really great week! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
