Writing

Writing is by far one of my favorite things to teach. I have tons of resources on what I do with my students here on the blog. Whether you're looking at what to teach or how to teach, I have a little something here for you. I'm a big proponent of teaching with mentor texts, and I highly suggest checking out posts that give more information about my favorite books to introduce specific topics and structures. Grading can be tough when you're first starting out, and I find that a rubric helps me stay consistent. I feature many different types of rubric in my posts so, there are tons of options for both rookies and veterans for grading writing.
