Product Swap: First Grade Fabulous Fish

I can’t believe how quickly the summer has just flown by! On my way along through the summer, I’ve had the fantastic opportunity to meet some amazing bloggers from across the country! Most recently, I’ve connected with Stephanie from First Grade Fabulous Fish, and I am so glad that I did! 🙂 She’s got a fantastic store and she let me go through it for this product swap hosted by ‘Confessions of a Teaching Junkie’. There were some really marvelous things in there, but…since I’m a sucker for anything piratey–you know what I asked for! Woot! Woot! 🙂 So…without any further ado…I’ve got some new PIRATE BOOTY to talk about! 🙂

Let the pirate palooza begin!

STEPHANIE’S PIRATE MINI-UNIT

There’s tons to like in this pack! Stephanie has quite a few really sweet activites that she’s put together for her learners in it! I think that they will work really well for mine as well! 🙂

1. Phonics – Stephanie has a picture card sort & spelling activity that will be a really wonderful review for AR words.

2. Story Vocabulary – There’s a sweet little vocabulary card sort that would work with ANY pirate story!

3.Writing Extensions – There are some really cute sheets that students can use to retell ANY pirate story! I loved that she uses time order words in some of the frames! 🙂 So very common core!! LOVE!

4. Math Centers – Two different ideas for adding with three digit numbers and even one for counting money.

This was a super fun pack that can be used all in one sitting, or over the course of the year as different skills come up! 🙂 I had fun putting it together and I think my little pirates will love it! 🙂
