So, it’s getting to be that time…the time of the year where I have to find some really cute crafts to send home with my firsties. I love a good craft as much as the next person, but…I haven’t been in first grade for years, so, I’m a bit rusty. I really don’t like meaningless crafts…I need to feel like the craft is in response to content I taught in the classroom. A quick search at TPT turned up the following ideas…
*Stocking Craft* |
I love the fact that the craft comes complete with a writing extension! 🙂 There’s a bubble map and a draft copy page for the students to use. I think it will look really nice above my white board. 🙂 Can’t wait to work on them this week. 🙂
*Fact and Opinion Craftivity* |
I liked this one to quickly review fact and opinion. It’s simple and can also be used in the future for a non-holiday review as well. Good stuff. 🙂
*Contractions Craftivity* |
This one turned out so cute! A great way to review contractions! 🙂 I can’t wait to try this one out in my room as well! We are going to be all Christmas-ed OUT, by the time I’m done with these firsties! 😉
*Snowman Craftivity Pack* |
Okay…so I am totally in love with this Snowman craftivity pack…it not only includes a cute content driven activity, but a WRITING EXTENSION TOO! 🙂 Imagine my luck finding this! And for FREE too! 🙂 We are definately fitting this in somewhere! 🙂
Well, these are the freebies that I found and am using! What about you guys?
Happy two weeks until vacation,
Tamara
