Summer Fun: Must Have Monday

June 10, 2013 by Tamara

photo musthavemondays_zpsd5f0b4a7.pngWelcome to my first post in my Summer Fun Series! πŸ™‚  I am linking up with Sabra over at Teaching with a Touch of Twang–my sweet bloggy sister! πŸ™‚  Go on an click on her icon to see what others are posting about–or to just link up yourself! πŸ™‚

Today’s post is light and fluffy.  Literally! πŸ™‚

***DISCLAIMER***
This blog post is shamelessly promoting the awesomeness of Target stores.
No royalties will be recieved from the viralness of this post–but joy will be had by your tastebuds for SURE!

Yesterday the hubs and I made a Target run for a few groceries–thank you parents for those end of the year Target gift cards–LOVE ya’ll! πŸ˜‰  Anywhoo…they were giving samples of sweet tea and we both took one sip and decided that we must have TWO bottles! πŸ™‚

Oh my word!
So delicious! πŸ™‚
You guys just HAVE to try it! πŸ™‚
So…another thing that I most recently decided that I can not live without is…
Archer Farms Creme Brulee!
I don’t know how Chris & I got into this ‘thing’ about custard, but we do have a ‘thing’ about it.  We like custardy pies…custardy yogurt…AAAAnd, creme brulee!
It’s really simple to make at home…
First, you set your oven to BROIL.
Next, you take the creme brulee out of the plastic package.
(It comes in these adorable terra cotta ramekins!)
Sprinkle the sugar on top, and stick it in the oven for 4-6 minutes.
And then…
VOILA!
Bubbly delicious goodness! πŸ™‚
I like to stick mine in the fridge for about 10 minutes so it firms up a bit.
Chris just eats it hot! He’s kinda crazy that way!
Last thing…please stop by my dear friend, Sara’s blog today for her giveaway! πŸ™‚
She has been hosting a week of great goodies to celebrate her one year anniversary in blogging!
I am one of the featured bloggers! πŸ™‚
I will be giving away my PRIMARILY PACK!!

I'm intrigued by American Target…. Can you buy groceries there?! I'm a massive fan of Target too ( the Aussie version!) but we don't seem to have all the nifty things that I see people blogging about… Mainly clothes, a few toys and a little bit of homewares – it sounds like we're missing out!!

And can I just say, that creme brΓ»lΓ©e looks AMAZING!!!

Oh! YES! They are called 'SuperTarget'! They are fabulous! You are definately being deprived by the targets in Australia! They are HUUUUUGE here! πŸ™‚ Come visit us and I'll take you myself! πŸ˜‰ The dollar section there can not be beat for quick things for a treasure box, or gifts for the kids! πŸ˜‰ Good stuff!
