Key West

July 22, 2012 by Tamara

Our first day in Key West!

Here’s our family at the ‘Southernmost Point’.  90 miles to Cuba, baby! ๐Ÿ™‚  So glad to have my mom-in-law, nephew and  sister-in-law with us for the week!  Good fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

So, there’s this place called Peppers in Key West.  All they sell is hot sauce.  Basically…we sat at the bar and tried out hot sauce and chips for 45 minutes.  I tapped out after this one!  YIKES!  Super hot!  LOL! (I’m a light weight though…my husband really enjoys hot sauce and kept going a little further!)

We had Shepard’s Pie at a local Irish pub there…so yummy!  It’s one of my husband’s favorite things to eat!

My husband and mother in law wanted to check out a haunted  tour of Key West, so…after we did that…we got a ride on this cart that a guy was driving with his bicycle!  So fun to drive down Duval this way!  Got a chance to really see the sights and sounds of Key West at night…

What a wonderful two week’s it’s been for me!  My husbands family came down from Minnesota to spend two weeks with us!  The first week we stayed here in the Orlando area and the second week we went to Key West!  It was so relaxing and fun!
