Literacy Centers

July 29, 2012 by Tamara

I’ve also been working on some literacy centers for my classroom as well…I’ll be working on more of them after I finish up my lesson plans for the first few weeks.  I need to see what I’ll be doing first, then I’ll make up what I need to suit what I’m teaching…stay tuned for more on this topic as I get to it! ๐Ÿ™‚  I promise I’ll be better about blogging once school starts and I’m back in to a real routine.  Honestly, I can’t wait to get back to work!  Sleeping in for two months gets old for me after about three weeks! ๐Ÿ™‚

Now…what I have for you here is a math center that’s a government themed board game. It goes with 1.OA.1.  (Of course, you could use it to remediate second graders…your preference.:)  I really love teaching social studies, so, there will be other games that I’ll be making that are related to social studies themes later in the year…Right below my post is a word center freebie link to my TPT site.
