September 21, 2014 by Tamara

initial blends
It’s a good week friends! ๐Ÿ™‚
I’m back to link up with Dee Dee over at Mrs. Wills’ Kindergarten to show you a peek at my week!
This week, I was able to go to Kimberly Santana’s shower! ๐Ÿ™‚ ย She’s the brains behind The Learning Tree! ๐Ÿ™‚ Her sweet Eliana is due in ten more weeks! ๐Ÿ™‚ So excited to love on this little one! ๐Ÿ™‚ ย I went with Tammy from the Resourceful Apple and Leigh from the Applicious Teacher! ๐Ÿ™‚
I won a prize! ๐Ÿ™‚ ย I correctly measured Kimberly’s belly with toilet paper! ๐Ÿ™‚ ย I’m a measurement BOSS! ๐Ÿ™‚
On Friday, I had the parents come in to celebrate International Speak Like a Pirate Day! ๐Ÿ™‚ ย We sang songs, recited poems, and did centers! ย It was really fun! ย Lots of parents came! ย The kids had a blast! ๐Ÿ™‚
Next up…visual plans for the week!
This week, we are talking all about sports and how we play with our friends! ๐Ÿ™‚ ย I’m really excited about all the things I have planned for the littles this week! ๐Ÿ™‚

Word Work Centers: Initial R Blends
Word Work Centers: Initial S Blends
Our series teaches both s and r blends in the same week. ย Ridiculous….I know. ๐Ÿ™ ย I’m just going to try to ‘go with it’ this week….pray people…pray.
Sports Themed Writing Pack for Firsties
Click HERE to find this on TPT!
I love this little writing unit I created last year. ย There are tons of anchor charts to help the kids with different aspects of their writing. ย We will be working on the narrative story writing this week.
Sight Word Activity Pack: SEPTEMBER {Marvelous Morning Wor
There are a handful of high engagement activities in here that align with the sight words used in my September Morning Work pack! ย I love using these each month with my kids during phonics!
