Back to School Linky: Assessment

July 24, 2014 by Tamara

Welcome back to another installment of the Back to School Linky hosted by my buddy Sara over at Miss V’s Busy Bees! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m excited about this week’s topic! ๐Ÿ™‚
I know I’m going to sound like a nerd, but I really enjoy writing assessments!
Call it a hold over from teaching intermediate all those years, but…I really like it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I like formal and informal assessments.
I have a set of formal assessments in my TPT store for math, and one for phonemic awareness and phonics.
I have a post dedicated to the math.  Click HERE for that.
The phonics assessments cover all aspects of phonemic awareness and short vowels.

I also like creating informal assessments out of crafts! ๐Ÿ™‚
Check out how I use this Lovebot Craftivity from Teaching in the Tongass! ๐Ÿ™‚

I know Valentine’s Day is a little far from now, but, if you already have Jen’s craft, download the recording sheet that I glued to the back for non-standard measurement by clicking HERE! ๐Ÿ™‚

What do you do for assessments in your primary classroom?
Looking forward to hearing from you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Stop by my Facebook Fan page tomorrow! ๐Ÿ™‚
It’s the fourth Friday of the month and I’ll be sharing some of my favorite Back to School Freebies! ๐Ÿ™‚
