Must Have Mondays {May 20, 2013}

May 21, 2013 by Tamara

photo musthavemondays_zpsd5f0b4a7.pngHappy Monday to everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚  Today, I’m linking up with sweet Sabra over at Teaching with a Touch of Twang! ๐Ÿ™‚  This is a brand new linky party!  We’ll be sharing things in our classrooms that we just can’t live without! ๐Ÿ™‚

This was such a great idea!
There are tons of things that I’ll be sharing with you guys over the summer, but…today I’m going to start out with some light stuff for ya! ๐Ÿ™‚

So without further ado…let me give you two things that I can’t live without in my classroom!

Yep…COFFEE!  I really love it in the mornings.  It just starts my morning with a perk! ๐Ÿ™‚
I don’t care if its Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, 7-11…Coffee is coffee!  I will drink it with a fox, I will drink it next to some rocks, I do love coffee Sam I am…lol! ๐Ÿ™‚

The other must have item for any teacher of firsties…
Oh…wet paper towels…how I love thee!!
Let me extol the wonders of the wet paper towel…it can heal a paper cut…it can cure a headache…it can just all around make a bad day better! :0)  Ya’ll know what I’m talking about.
WET.
PAPER.
TOWELS.
Do you know how many trips to the nurse have been averted by the right application of a paper towel?
I should be an MD at the application of wet paper towels!
So…those are my two! ๐Ÿ™‚
I promise that I will have something more ‘academic’ to share with you next time! ๐Ÿ™‚

HAHAHA you are to funny girl! I never thought about it but its true! Ah the miracle of wet paper towels :o) So do you have a coffee maker at school too? I used to have a mini-fridge in the office to stash my soda addiction but then it died this year :o( Thanks for linking up! Can't wait to see what else you can't live without!

I had the mini-fridge, too, for my Coke! We moved our school, lock, stock, and barrel to a new building this past year and that's one of the things that went missing. I'm hoping it finds it's way back to me, but I'm thinking someone might've found it.

Coffee maker at school, in my room? Hmmm? Iced coffee? Coke? I think you two have given me an idea!!!!!!

Wet paper towels seem to be a cure all for students, don't they!? I like my coffee in the morning too. I make a cup right before I leave and then bring it with me. We can't have coffee makers in our rooms.

HAHA! I love this! I know exactly what you mean about the wet paper towels. They work magic in my room! I don't drink coffee BUT I do have to have my Dr. Pepper each morning.
