Happy Wednesday to you all! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am linking up with Leigh over at Teaching with a Touch of Twang for her Monthly Market Linky!  This month, we’re going to talk about Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day and End of the Year Stuff!

For Cinco de Mayo, my students and I are working through my new Tomas and the Library Lady Unit.  We’ll be making salsa and guacamole in class this week too! ๐Ÿ™‚  I am really excited about embracing Mexican culture with the kids this week.

I’ll be doing quite a few craftivities for Mother’s Day this week.  My mom will be in the classroom to help me! ๐Ÿ™‚  I just had a joint giveaway with Daina Roberts over at Sticky Notes and Glitter.  My students will be making her Wild About Mom Writing.   If you click on picture below, you’ll get a chance to see what I had to say in a different post about Daina’s craft! ๐Ÿ™‚

For the end of the year, I’ve been working on some unique end of year awards to give to the kids.  I love academic awards, but I also like fun things that celebrate who the kids ARE vs. what they can do! I’ve been working on re-doing them, so, I won’t have them in my store this year, but, I’l blog about them and post them for next year! ๐Ÿ™‚

Just also wanted to let you know about a few new things that I’ve posted in my store! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve uploaded some new papers…Avocado–a series of green papers.  Candied Apple Blue Sky is a mix of red and blue papers. I’ve got some pastel chevrons, and a brown and white mix I like to call Cocoa Blue.

Enjoy the rest of your week! ๐Ÿ™‚
