Hello everyone!:)
Welcome to our Blog Hop!
I am the…
 photo FirstStop_zps2d6f7180.jpg

Thank you so much for coming along for this awesome ride! ๐Ÿ™‚
There are eleven stops on this hop.  Each blogger will share a paid product and a free product with you. Just a few things to remember…
1.) If you download a freebie…don’t forget to say thanks!
2.) If you’re not following one of these fabulous ladies…go on and do that today!
3.) To go through the hop, just click on the button for the next blogger at the bottom of each post! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Let’s get started!

I’ve got two products for you! ๐Ÿ™‚
The first one is

If you were looking for something that meets common core requirements for utilizing close reading strategies with complex text…try this unit out!
There are five days of explicit plans for the use of the First Grade Exemplar Text ‘How People Learned to Fly’ by Fran Hodgkins.
This book is paired with several different leveled texts that I wrote to support themes in the book–such as, the Greek myth of Icarus and a biography on the Wright Brothers.
This unit is jam-packed!
There are tons of pocket chart resources for close reading, a science demonstration and a home school connection on paper airplanes!

Next up…a FREE resource! ๐Ÿ™‚
Who doesn’t like a freebie??

Do you need a quick sorting game to work on the sounds of Y?
Then, download this sweet little freebie!

Students will sort for words with y as a consonant, as a long e, and as a long i.
Click on the picture to be directed to my TPT page so that you can download it!

Next up…stop NUMBER TWO…
The lovely Jen from The Teacher’s Cauldron!
You don’t want to miss what she’s got for you!
Click on her button to go on over to her page!
