Five for Friday {April 12, 2013}

April 13, 2013 by Tamara

 photo 9da8428c-7137-47d2-87fe-9d2e87d09191_zps80709018.jpgGreetings all! ๐Ÿ™‚  Welcome to another Five for Friday Linky post! ๐Ÿ™‚  This week was kind of tough for the Pirates in Room 156.  We battled the flu! ๐Ÿ™

1.) I started the week with 6 kids…not six absent…6 KIDS.:(  I had the most kids on Thursday…9.  I wrapped up the week with 8. It was tough to teach, but I mangaged to do lots of review and even added some writing. ๐Ÿ™‚

2.) So…Lysol has been my new bestie!
3.)  I teamed up with Daina a few times this week…since I only had six kids, adding mine to her 16 didn’t make for a really big class.  She was missing two due to sickness too…so…there weren’t too many kids.  We played ‘Take a Toucan’ every SINGLE DAY. They are obsessed. ๐Ÿ™‚
4.)  One of my parents who volunteers all the time brought me orange juice for the kids! ๐Ÿ™‚  This was on Tuesday.  I taught from the kidney table! ๐Ÿ™‚
5.) We did have some fun though.  This week we wrapped up our unit on maps and landforms.  I found some really cute pinterest projects that featured Earth and I created this hybrid project from those. ๐Ÿ˜‰
I trust that your week was much less germy than mine! ๐Ÿ™‚
Hopefully, all my firsties will be back on Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for reading!
