Let’s Get Acquainted Linky Party: March 10, 2013

March 11, 2013 by Tamara

Here’s the link to Latoya’s Blog!!

Friends…I’m thrilled to be linking up with Latoya at Flying into First!  She’s just started a super fun linky called, ‘Let’s Get Acquainted!’.  I don’t know about you, but I love a good linky!  I can’t wait to find out more about the other bloggers that I have been following! 🙂

Today’s topic: Share 3 things that you like or like to do using your initials!

My initials are TVR…so…here we go…

Boston & Maine

T for Travel
I love to go to new places! 🙂  I’ve been to almost all of the lower 48 states except for the Pacific Northwest!  My husband and I drove from our house in central Florida…all the way to Camden, Maine and back in two weeks! 🙂  It was a total blast!  I once drove with some teacher girlfriends of mine all the way to California and back home in about three weeks!  So…yep…I LOVE to travel! 🙂

V for Vanilla Lattes with Vanilla Scones from Starbucks…
These always make ANY day better! 🙂

R for Reading on my Kindle
My mom bought Chris and I Kindle Fires for our anniversary two years ago.  I’ve probably read 200 books since then.  I read before, but mostly just for work.  Now, I read for fun.  When I started to produce resources for my class and put them on TPT my voracious reading slowed way down, but these authors below are my kryptonite.  If they put out a book…I’m in my bed all weekend, reading.  That’s EXACTLY what happened this weekend, when Karen Luellen put out book 5 of the Winter’s Saga.  In October, she wraps up the series with the sixth and final book…I seriously do not know what I will do when it is over. 🙁  Love her! 🙂
Karen is a kindergarten teacher by trade and writes in her spare time.  She’s wonderful! 🙂  I’ve gotten to know her a bit over the last two years and she’s just a dear sweet lady! 🙂  So…go out and get one of her books! 🙂  You can get several of the books here for free on PIXEL of  INK! 🙂  Check out their specials! 🙂

That about covers it for me! 🙂
Don’t forget to link back to Latoya’s site and say hello to the person who posted before you…and the two that came after! 🙂

XOXO,
Tamara
