Economics Extravaganza is an activity that I created to teach my third graders about economics.  The activity requires the students to learn collaboratively while also utilizing technology.  This year, I even added a behavior management system that involved play money and a bi-monthly store.  The students really got a kick out of that new addition! ๐Ÿ™‚  I post this activity on my webpage only when I need it…since I have so many different web based activities.  It keeps my classroom webpage from getting too cluttered.  Here’s a screen shot of the ‘web-directions’ for completion of the project.  I’ve included some photos of the students presenting the culminating project as well.

 This presentation is about banking.

When the presentation were over, students were able to ask questions.

These fine fellas were teaching everyone about credit.  They drew a line on the paper to represent a line of credit!  So cute! ๐Ÿ™‚  You can barely see it below the MasterCard symbol.
This team shared the difference between needs and wants.
