10 Teachers of Color to Follow on Instagram

November 10, 2016 by Tamara

instagram

I love instagram!

It’s a fantastic way to connect on a personal or professional level with other teachers in a quick snapshot!

I love scrolling through pictures and seeing great teaching ideas, funny memes and family photos because it truly puts a smile on my face! 🙂

Family, I will be perfectly honest with you.  As much as I have loved getting to know many other teacher bloggers on my TPT journey, it is tough being the only one in a room that looks like me.  There are more chocolate teachers blogging now than ever before and trust me when I tell you, I am looking for them, and excited to hear their stories.

This list serves a two fold purpose.  First, it’s a point of connectivity for other brown and black bloggers to find each other…but it is also a way for folks who follow me on IG to find some ‘diamonds in the rough’ that they may not have otherwise checked out.  Here are my top 10 go to cocoa colored teachers that light up my life!

Tamara Russell from Mrs. Russell’s Room
