Fourteen in Fourteen!

December 22, 2014 by Tamara

Can I just say that I love when my bloggy buddies come up with linkies so that I can just post something for fun?  LOL!
Hadar & I in Las Vegas for the TPT Convention!
So fun! ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks Hadar, for this super fun linky! ๐Ÿ™‚
Sometimes, the toughest part of blogging for me is thinking about what folks would want to read…or what I might want to share.
So, a special thank you to you and to the other girls who host this each year! ๐Ÿ™‚
It has been a year of me being more thankful for my real friends! ๐Ÿ™‚  I am so grateful to be so blessed!

Here’s an Afghan scarf that my brother got me while on tour there!  LOVE IT! ๐Ÿ™‚  I wear it every day!
Mark Whalberg and things blowing up…*sigh*
Loved this movie!

We’ve got a breakfast spot here called Keke’s that I just LOVE!
Binge watching is so much fun! ๐Ÿ™‚
I get tons of work done on my computer from the couch and it totally keeps me company!
When my sweet bloggy sisters found out I was in the hospital, they sent me these gifts! ๐Ÿ™‚  The blogging community has been so supportive!  I really don’t know what I did before I had these special ladies in my life.

This is one of my favorite recipes from my Teacher Foodie board!  Most of the recipes are quick and easy for teachers to prepare in the middle of super busy lives.  Wanna check out some amazingly tasty recipes?  Click on Teacher Foodie Board to go visit!
Peer Editing with Firsties: Here are a few things that I did with my kids that helped them become wonderful editors! :) Check out the cute video of two of my littles peer editing each other!

I love teaching writing to littles!
In this post, I talk a little bit about how I get them to peer edit one another!  It’s really helped them become more independent writers! ๐Ÿ™‚
This year, Teachers Pay Teachers recognized me in August for sharing my teaching resources.  I’ve been working so hard at becoming my best teacher-self, and this August was the culmination of that!
I went to New York with Tammy and Leigh.
We laughed so hard…all the time!
We took this picture after a ride in one of those bicycle drawn carts.  It was a four block trip that cost way too much money…but…it was so funny!
Puts a smile on my face whenever I remember! LOL!

Loved getting to see the New Kids on the Block with one of my best bloggy buddies ever…Marie from the Hands on Teacher in First! #loveher #thatisall

To get healthy.
I have fibroids pretty bad.  They’ve made me anemic.
I had to have a blood transfusion a two weeks ago, and the doctors in the ER have suggested a total hysterectomy.  I go for a ‘third opinion’ this week.
The whole thing has been pretty overwhelming and I am hopeful that 2015 will be better than 2014. :/
