Bright Ideas: Tens Frame Strategies

Welcome to another installment of the Bright Ideas Hop! ๐Ÿ™‚
This is one of the funnest hops that I get to be a part of! ๐Ÿ™‚
So many ideas…and they are ALL FREE! ๐Ÿ™‚
Today I’d like to talk to you about teaching with a tens strategy!
One of the toughest things to teach in a primary classroom is number sense.
Students need to understand that numbers can be manipulated into different groups.
Using this strategy is one way that I teach this concept.
