I am so excited to share this pack with you all! 🙂
I created this as a resource to support the fluency goals I’ve set for my kiddos in class, but also to give my parents something tangible to work on with their learners at home…that is on their level.
The parent component of this pack is really important.
You’ll be depending on them to work with your student on this nightly!
For this pack, I’ve included four months of themed fluencies.
This pack is unique in that it blends both fluency and comprehension.
There are scaffolded questions on each sheet that require the students to respond with full answers rather than just a yes or a no.
Something else that is unique to this pack is that it’s LEXILED!
Although there are tons of fluency resources out there…both free and paid, I haven’t found one that was lexiled and leveled! I’ve provided the correlations for AR, DRA, and Fountas & Pinnell!
You will be able to ACCURATELY use this tool to progress monitor your students!
I’ve varied the topics, and also balanced both literary and informational texts within the bundle.
The first sheet is a preview of the LOW text on ‘Snow’.
This next text is the preview from the MID LEVEL version of the ‘Snow’ text.
This last page is a preview of the HIGH Leveled Text for the ‘Snow’ passage.
A lot of love went into this pack for my own students!
My scores on the most recent diagnostic scores were really fantastic, and I think that this type of instruction is a big part of the reason my students are experiencing so much success! 🙂
