Hello fellow educator!

This quick formative assessment for multiples of ten that includes a craft.
There are two different ways that you could approach this. You could allow students to use the leveling system that I use, or you could just use the Level 3 questions which are full mastery of the standard questions to complete the task.
Category: Math
  • Description

Description

LEVEL 1: Student can multiply 1 digit whole numbers by multiples of 10.
LEVEL 2: Student can multiply 1 digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in a word problem or table.
LEVEL 3: Student can multiply 1 digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range of 10 -90 using strategies, word problems, or tables.
You can display the problems on the board, or you can print them out and place them in a center for students to work on.
These were fun to do with my own learners!
I hope you’ll enjoy using this as well!

If you enjoy this math resource, you might also enjoy my math morning work.
I’ve tested these units in my classroom as independent practice for morning work and also in my small group remediation. There are 10-12 sheets per unit because most of my instructional units are about 8-10 days long. This gives me a few additional sheets to use at my pleasure!

We use a gridded response in my district, so you’ll see in the very detailed preview above what that looks like. Please make sure you look at the preview before purchase! 🙂
The set that most readily aligns with this tool is Multiples of Ten.
There are 15 others for the other tested third grade math skills.
Unit One: Rounding
Unit Two: Addition & Subtraction
Unit 3: Introduction to Multiplication & Division
Unit 4: More With Division
Unit 5: Patterns and Properties
Unit Six: Fact Families
