Happy Sunday to you all! ๐
I’m participating in a Facebook Page Hop for Firstie Teachers today! ๐
Just click on the gingerbread man button to get started! ๐
I’ll be offering a Christmas themed math freebie! ๐
Also, ’tis the season….to be preparing for a formal observation! :/ *sigh*
Well…not really, but…you get my drift! ๐
Anyway…one of the objectives on the observation is to have my students self-monitor their own progress. I was talking to one of my teammates a few weeks ago, and we came up with a flip book idea that we think will work for our firsties.

We have books to cover both first grade math and reading. *Language Arts & Phonics is coming soon*
The students will color code the circles in the flip book and date it to note their progress.
Each page has an icon or a page number to help kids navigate the book.
You can staple the tops or bind them with a ring. They come out super cute! ๐
