Greetings everyone! ๐ I trust you are having a great weekend with your families! ๐ This weekend, I treated myself to having fun with my friends! ๐ I have been working a lot, so, I haven’t really let myself get out from behind this computer too often. ๐ Friday and Saturday I made up for it! ๐
Friday, I went out with Leigh from the Applicious Teacher and Leslie from First Grade and Flip Flops for one of our favorite guilty pleasures….wine…CHEESECAKE! It was a fun and relaxing evening full of laughter and good food! ๐
On Saturday, I went to Epcot for the evening with some other teacher friends of mine! ๐

We’re going to be working through a number of different packs, so…it will be a full week for us! ๐
This is the first year I’ve used Katie’s American Symbols pack, but…It’s a great one! ๐
I bought Katie’s American Heroes pack last year and used it kind of ‘piecemeal’, if you will…I highlighted people from the pack throughout the year and it really was a wonderful additon to our literacy and social studies initiatives! ๐
