Greetings all! ๐ Welcome to another Five for Friday Linky post! ๐ This week was kind of tough for the Pirates in Room 156. We battled the flu! ๐
1.) I started the week with 6 kids…not six absent…6 KIDS.:( I had the most kids on Thursday…9. I wrapped up the week with 8. It was tough to teach, but I mangaged to do lots of review and even added some writing. ๐
2.) So…Lysol has been my new bestie!
3.) I teamed up with Daina a few times this week…since I only had six kids, adding mine to her 16 didn’t make for a really big class. She was missing two due to sickness too…so…there weren’t too many kids. We played ‘Take a Toucan’ every SINGLE DAY. They are obsessed. ๐
4.) One of my parents who volunteers all the time brought me orange juice for the kids! ๐ This was on Tuesday. I taught from the kidney table! ๐
5.) We did have some fun though. This week we wrapped up our unit on maps and landforms. I found some really cute pinterest projects that featured Earth and I created this hybrid project from those. ๐
I trust that your week was much less germy than mine! ๐
Hopefully, all my firsties will be back on Monday! ๐
Thanks for reading!
