I am so thankful for these linkies! ๐ Now that the year is winding down…it gives me an opportunity to still connect with people when my brain is just about fried! LOL! ๐ I don’t have to plan too much…just chat with ya! ๐ Love this! ๐
So…I was working on school work during the season premire of Game of Thrones on HBO and Snow White and the Huntsman was on after…so I switched to that. Wow…what beautiful special effects! Of course…I spent the time thinking ‘Oh no! The queen is hitting Bella Swan!’ but…outside of that…it wasn’t too bad. Grant you…I only saw the last hour or so. ๐
Spring Break has just finished, and I am super glad for all of the great work I was able to do for my firsties! ๐ Lately it’s been really exciting to look at the things I am doing and KNOW that I’m getting better at putting them together…and the kids are enjoying my new creative streak as well! ๐
I should probably be getting to bed, but I’ve been in the habit of going at 2 or 3…so…now…I just want to stay up and cut out these centers…but, I think I’m going to hit the hay after this post…
This week…I am determined to hit the gym. I want to be able to go to the beach with my husband when school lets out and not be hiding behind aviators and a gynormous towel! I live in Florida for Pete’s sake! I’ve got to get in shape! ๐ It is just time!
TPT/Blogging Advice…Don’t worry about the things you can’t control…just do you. All I can worry about is me…and what I am making for my classroom. There’s been a bit of complaing, whining, fussing … talk in the TPT forums lately about visibility for new sellers and what’s fair and what’s not…etc. All I know is that when I started in July…I expected that no one would buy anything that I made for my class. Far less, care what I was doing in my classroom…or what my opinions were about teaching practice or life in general. I was wrong about that…because…here you are…reading my blog! LOL! ๐ My point is…I do this…blogging…TPT-ing…for me…for my students…I do it because it is fun! ๐ When it is not fun any more…I’ll find a new hobby. But…I’ve met some of the nicest people through this medium, and I can’t imagine that I’d ever become bored by meeting interesting people from all over the world who love education as much as I do and are equally as passionate about children learning as I am! Life is short. I’m going to do the things that make me happy! ๐ Blogging and creating resources make me happy…if I happen to make some money while I do that…great…if not…that’s okay too! ๐

We just watched Snow White and the Huntsman last week. I really liked it. I have also been watching Game of Thrones, but on Netflix. We just finished Season 1 and I am looking forward to the next! I totally agree with you on the blogging advice, I think it is so fun to connect and meet others with similar ideas. It is a Hobby that I really enjoy!

LOVE G.O.T…I haven't missed an epi in any season and have seen most of them more than once. The books are good too…if you're into reading things that are long. ๐ I read them to meet my AR goals last year when I was competing with my third graders! Those books kept me competitive…I had some really avid readers last year! ๐ Thanks for stopping in, Corinna! ๐
